He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Schurr and Mary Schurr (Mayes); his brother Dick; his sister-in-law Valerie Schurr; and his grandson Evan Quinton Morris.

He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Shawn and Jared; his granddaughter Henley; his friends, Ron Anderson, Dave Slothower, Rick Smith and Rusty Berry; his grandchildren, Mallory and Kasey; his wife Tamara Corbett; his former wife Tammy; his daughters, Stefanie (Shawn) and Jenny (Jared); his grandchildren, Jordan (Tyler), Holly (Cameron), Cooper and Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Tatum, Emery and Quinton; and his siblings, Mike (Joni), Janet Miller and Linda Slothower. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
