She was predeceased by: her parents, John Evans and Alice Evans. She is survived by: her brother John; her niece Allison; and her nephews, Michael, David and Daniel.

She attended school at the Capper Foundation, Seaman Schools, and was a graduate of Mid-America Nazarene University with a degree in Psychology. (rumor has it her brother may have had something to do with her choosing that tract!).
