He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Steven and Esther "Jeanette" Van Dyke Sparks. He is survived by: his sons, Ryan Sparks (Amy) of Garnett, KS and Nathan Sparks (Heather) of Greenville, OH; his stepchildren, Raymond Dyer (Shawna) of Gardner, KS and Carissa Wishom (Levi); and his siblings, Sue Karmann, Steve Sparks of McLouth, KS and John Sparks (Shirley) of McLouth, KS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barnett Family Funeral Home (1220 Walnut St, Oskaloosa, KS 66066). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
