David Leroy Edwards Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2024, at the age of 82, David Leroy Edwards of Oswego, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, June Edwards (Messer) and Harold "Boots" Edwards; his brother Robert Edwards; his daughter Kandi Martin; his stepdaughters, Diana Atkins and Rhonda McDaniel; and his great grandchild Cash Martin.

He is survived by : his former life partner Rosemary Lamb; his wife Carolyn; his daughter Tammie Benham (Charlie); his stepchildren, Randy McDaniel (Kim), Renee Stockton (Rick), Angela Schmoker (Sid) and Susan Weaver of Catoosa, OK; his son-in-law Rocky Martin of Oswego, KS.; and his grandchildren, Jacob Schmoker (Zo), Lindsey Schulz (Nate), Erica Birney (Nick), Zachary Schmoker (Megan) of Tulsa, OK, Sara Peak (Ryan) of Cherokee, KS, Caleb Martin (Rikki) of Buffalo, KS, Brady Bueltel of Pittsburg, KS, Adam Schmoker (Bre), Jordan Schmoker (Alexis), Caleb Weaver (Missy), Jamie Fleming (Chance), Logan Benham (McKenna) and KaeLee Martin (Damon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donations can be made to First Southern Baptist Church to be placed in a memorial fund for David.
