It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry L Strickland of Oswego, Kansas, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lee and Thelma Mae Strickland (Lindsey). He is survived by: his wife Donna Faye George; his children, Travis Strickland (Danna) of Rogers, AR, Tiffany Calico of Huntsville, AR and Dawn Richardson (Dennis) of Kansas City, MO; his stepchildren, John Strickland (Lisa) of Oswego, Janet Johnston (Mark) of Oswego, Judy Pease of Oswego and Joyce Fox (Kevin) of Oswego; and his sister Naomi Carter (Andy) of Chetopa, KS. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Derfelt Funeral Home - Oswego (203 Illinois St, Oswego, KS 67356). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Oswego Cemetery (13500 Rd, Oswego, KS 67356).
