In the vast expanse of eternity, Paula shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Paula farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Schmid and Mildred Ruth Schmid (Larery). She is survived by: her husband Jerry L. Smith; her son Douglas; her daughter-in-law Julie Smith of Oswego, KS; her daughter Rebecca; her son-in-law Matt McClenning of Parsons, KS; her grandchildren, Kaci McClenning of Parsons, KS and Megan Gudde (Josh) of Eureka, KS; her great grandchild Barrett Gudde of Eureka, KS; and her sister Suzanne Frew of Tucson, AZ..
