It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Stapleton of Oswego, Kansas, who passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Addis and Edythe Addis (Hearson); her husband George Stapleton; and her siblings, Verl Addis, Virgil Addis (Bub), Fay Addis, Jimmy Addis, Roger Addis, Alene Ruttgen, Irene Peters and Emma Jean Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Westervelt (Ronnie), Brenda Vantrease (Dayle) and Keith Stapleton (Rita); her grandchildren, Kelly Mooney (Joe), Kylie Edgecomb (Ryan), Tracy Robson, Shaun Stapleton (Heather) and Eric Stapleton (Michelle); and her sister Peggy Joy Stapleton.
