“I will never forget how kind and nurturing she was when I was younger and how helpful a mentor when I was older. I am blessed to have been both child student and teacher student in Ottawa. These are some of my fondest memories. Alice Joy Lewis was at the center of this tight-knit community and will always be a part of everything I do. I am currently teaching violin in Singapore and unable to return, but I wish to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences.”
