We announce the death of Carol L. Waddle (Ottawa, Kansas), who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward E. Conklin; her husband Eddie Waddle; her parents, Arvel James Peak and Lily Lena Peak; her grandparents, Otto, Louisa Peak (Manning), Asa and Flora Holman (Coy); and her brothers, Wayne Peak, Carl Peak and Larry Peak.
She is survived by: her sons, Clifford Conklin, Clayton Conklin, Christopher Conklin, Curtis Conklin and Corey Conklin; and her sister Sharon Wise. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; along with several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Crematory (235 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Antioch Cemetery (2125 Indiana Rd, Ottawa, KS 66067).
