It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Stratton of Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stratton and Doris Stratton (Frodelius); his former wife Rosemary Miller; and his sister Kathleen McClain (Stratton). He is survived by: his wife Janet Burton of Columbus; his children, Stephanie Gault (Glenn) of Lesotho, Africa, Stephen Stratton (Tracy) of Oblong, IL, Jonathan Stratton (Joana) of Hobe Sound, FL, Jeffrey Stratton (Shari) of Summerfield, FL and Joseph Stratton (Fernanda) of Ottawa, KS; his grandchildren, Carson, Kaitlyn, Ryleigh, Kristen, Grant, Kylie, Sabrina, Kristell, Caleb, Cole, Slate and Ember; and his siblings, Dennis Stratton (Gayle) of Ashville, NY, David Stratton (Gladys) of Clarion, PA, Daniel Stratton (Donna) of Ashville, NY, Douglas Stratton of Gamerco, NM and Joan Christy (Kenneth) of Coalton, OH.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
