She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Hull and Lula E Hull (Horst); her husband James Bowen; her children, Richard Odell Bowen and Cathy Negrete; and her siblings, Leo Hull, Harry "Bud" Hull, Mamie Johnson, Beulah Meyers and Bonnie Hull.

She is survived by: her sons, Joe Bowen and James Ray Bowen. She is also survived by four grandchildren; two great granddaughters; four great grandsons; two step great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
