It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel R. Gilliland of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Williamsburg, Kansas, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd J. Sr. Robbins and Emeline R. Robbins (Pingree); her husband Leland "Bud" Gilliland; and her siblings, Florence Gamet, Thelma Dillon, Nina Marie Bainer, Betty Robbins and Lloyd J. Robbins, Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Robyn Bowman (John) of Ottawa and Leland E. "Gene" Gilliand of Centropolis; her grandchildren, Tracy Leach (Mark) of Baldwin City, Tara Bowman of Ottawa, Brett Gilliland of Kansas City and Dayna Gilliland (Amanda) of Kansas City, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Emma Leach of Baldwin City, Anna Leach of Baldwin City and Cody Leach of Baldwin City; her great great grandchild MaKenzie Leach of Baldwin City; her sister Shirley Simmons of Centropolis; and her cousin Jo Flager of Ottawa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
