He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Ray "Baby" Smith and Bonnie Jean Colvin; his wife Bonnie Kay McArdle; and his son Joshua Michael Smith. He is survived by: his children, Caitlin Rae Smith of Ottawa, Shelly Warner (Rick) of Wichita and Randy White (Amanda) of Shawnee Mission, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Samantha Willhite, Brianna Garten (Casey), Mallory Willhite, Joseph Willhite, Taylor Brown and Athena Solomon; his great grandchildren, Jadyn of Alex, AJ, Easton, Blakely, Arabella, Kinslee, Jameson and Maya; his great great grandchild Elias; and his siblings, Colleen Newell of Wellsville, Debbie Keaton (Freddie) of Lawrence, Charlene McConnell (Daren) of Olathe and Steve Smith (Nedra) of Lee Summit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and precious friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hope Cemetery West 2nd.
