With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mitzi Wallace of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Highland, Illinois, who passed away on June 28, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Jost and Jeanne Jost (Diaz); and her son Mike Wallace. She is survived by: her husband Harold R. Wallace; her son Terry Wallace (Kris) of Ottawa, KS; her daughter-in-law Patty Wallace of Overland Park, KS; her granddaughters, Taylor Neiswender (Ryan) of Ottawa, KS, Jamie Costa (Cassiano) of Boca Raton, FL, Emilee Harwell (Ryan) of Overland Park, KS, Katie Murillo (Josh) of Dallas, TX and Taylor Wallace of Overland Park, KS; and her great grandchildren, Jack, James, Nate, Blakely, Dalton, Clarke, Campbell, Whit, Leo and Kai.

“To the Wallace Family my deepest condolences although I knew of Mitzi I didn’t know her … my family came to Ottawa in 1966 … I knew Harold as he was a teacher and football coach at Ottawa High School in my younger days 73-76 I also knew Mike & Terry Wallace and I am saddened to hear of Mitzi’s passing … I was recently at my wife’s 40th High School reunion and learned of Mike’s passing oh my goodness.. Mike was older than myself and Terry graduated with my brother… Godspeed Wallace family”
