He is survived by: his children, Michael Shannon of Rogers, Katie Smith of Ottawa and Thomas Shannon of California; his brothers, Jeffrey Shannon and Brian Shannon (Janet); and his grandchildren, Anne Brand and Louis Shannon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
