He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert R. Geist and Jean Geist (Winn); his brother-in-law Ralph Housman; and his nephew Russel Geist. He is survived by : his wife Deb; his daughters, Mallory Hull (Eric) of Ottawa, Nicole Rogers (Eddie) of Sneads Ferry and Rachelle Snethen (Tony) of Overland Park, Kansas; his siblings, Shari Housman of Raymore, Teresa McClay (Bob) of Ottawa, Denise Roggenkamp (Duane) of Baldwin, Annette Ferguson (Brad) of Wellsville, Rick Geist of Ottawa, Joe Geist (Shela Chilton) of Ottawa, Robert "Rob" Geist (Kathy McGrath) of Ottawa, John Geist (Denise) of Garden City and Phillip Geist (Terra) of Williamsburg, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Braylon, Bryson, Haydon, Hadleigh, Ellison, Natalie and Trey. He is also survived by his pet dog "Piper" and many nieces and nephews.
