With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy L. Spain of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Hamilton, Kansas, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy L. Spain to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Waymond Buffington and Helen Buffington (Purkeypile); her sons, Joshua VanBuskirk and Bradley Spain; and her siblings, Patsy Sanders, Priscilla Weatherbee and Phillip Buffington.

She is survived by : her husband William Spain; her daughters, Kathy Spain of Wichita and Kristy Turner (Steve) of Raymore; her siblings, Phyllis Howard of Arkansas City and Paul Buffington of Medford; and her grandchildren, Chad Spain of Wichita, Sarah Yates of Blue Springs and Alison Casset of Aurora. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
