He is survived by: his wife Angie; his children, Evan Daugharthy (Larry White) and Eranne Daugharthy (Russell Schmidt); and his sisters, Sandra Ogg (Leslie) and Terri Carner. He is also survived by extended family, friends.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Crematory (235 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (426 S Cedar St, Ottawa, KS 66067). The inurnment was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (1050 E 15th St, Ottawa, KS 66067).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ottawa or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
