Shirley leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Shirley will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Winter and Georgia Winter (Seavey); her husband Guy Pierce; her daughter Guylia Pierce; and her sister Charlotte Dehn.
She is survived by: her sons, Glen Pierce of Kansas City, KS, Michael Pierce of Kansas City, MO, David Pierce (Mindy) of Powell, TN and Chuck Pierce of Hayes Center, NE. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several close nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home (325 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067).
