He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lantis and Gladys Lucille Lantis; his grandparents, Harry, Ina Lantis and Eula McDaniel; and his son Jeffery Lantis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Harms (Richard) of Pomona and Nicole Carey (Bret) of Pomona; his brother Gale Lantis; his grandchildren, Joe Harms (Caci) of Ottawa, Michael Harms of Pomona, Coleby Carey of Pomona and Miranda Carter (Dakota) of Pomona; and his great grandchild Sarah Harms of Ottawa, Kansas..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Crematory (235 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Ottawa (203 E 4th St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (551 K-68 Hwy, Pomona, KS 66076).
