William Gayle Franklin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Gayle Franklin (Ottawa, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Edith Elizabeth Franklin (Butler); his son Steven Franklin; his grandson Scott Steven Madden; and his sister Sue Knight.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lou Meyer (Jeff) and Angela Mayo (Jody); his grandchildren, Trenton Meyer (Madison), Cole Meyer (Kelsie), Blake Meyer (Gina) and Vanessa Westall (David); and his siblings, Don Franklin, Marvin Franklin (Betty) and Glenda Martin.
