He is survived by: his parents, William "Bill" Thornton, and Betty Thornton, Sr. (Stoner); his siblings, William Thornton, Jr. (Bobbie) and Spicey Henning (Erich); and his nephews, Tyler Thornton (Sierra) and Kris Ullery (Rachael). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
