He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Gloss and Gladys Gloss (Frye); his wife Doris Lyon; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Madeline Gloss.
He is survived by: his sons, Rob Gloss (Debbie) of Carbondale and Kevin Gloss (Sheri) of Overbrook; his brother-in-law Duane Lyon (Susie) of Baldwin City; his grandchildren, Derick Waetzig (Rikki), Eli Gloss, Dallas Gloss (Mikayla), Hannah Powell (Josiah), Weston Gloss (Julia), Jose Paredes (Mii), Victor Ramirez and Joseph Ramirez; and his great grandchildren, Daisy, Carter, Wyatt, Chloe, Emma, Anna, Boaz, Blakely, Hallie, Clay, Jaxon, Walker, Kian and Colter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Grace Community Church (310 E 8th St, Overbrook, KS 66524). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
