He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wayne Sr. and Grace Steele (Menneke); his daughters, Kathy Wilson and Pam Finch; and his grandson Eric Finch.
He is survived by: his wife Gerri Steele of Overbrook, Kansas; his son Wayne Steele of Kansas City, Kansas; his son-in-law Donny Finch of Ottawa, Kansas; his sister Delores Smith of Casper, Wyoming; his sister-in-law Ethel Steele of Centropolis, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Nathan Finch of Kansas City, Carie Beth Gunnels of Ottawa, Jason Steele of Ottawa and Natasha Snyder of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many other relatives and friends.
