He was predeceased by: his wife Marianne; his parents, Blaz and Julia; and his siblings, Mary "Mitzi" Jaksa, Emma "Emmie" Kaszko, Charles, Max, Albert and Joseph.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Kovac (Wendy), Marianne Kovac, Thomas Kovac and Carole Otey (Joe); and his grandchildren, Cody, Michelle and Greg.
