He was predeceased by: his brother Eugene Merlo. He is survived by: his brother Joseph Merlo (Bettie Harris); his children, Francine Taylor (Corey), Anthony Merlo, Jr. (Amy), Michele Maki (Rudy) and Mathew Merlo; and his grandchildren, Lauren Taylor and Mason Maki.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210).
