In the vast expanse of eternity, Burris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Burris farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Vail; and his sister Kathryn Greiner of Des Moines. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Abbott (Greg) of Broken Arrow, David Wilson (Michele) of Shawnee and Tricia Rener (Lawson) of Leawood. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
