It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire K Murray of Overland Park, Kansas, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father William Murphy; her husband Robert W. Murray; her children, Kathleen Murray of Overland Park, KS, Lynn Murray (Richard Gilman) of Overland Park, Elizabeth Murray Stangler (Gary) of Overland Park, Daniel Murray (Dawn) of Warren County, MO, Padraic Murray (Lila) of Creve Coeur, MO., Robert W. Murray Jr. and William Murphy Murray; her sister Judy Murphy Merra (Sabino) of Sudbury, MA; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Derby and BetteLou Popuolo (Michael). She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Contributions in her honor should be made to the Robert W. Murray Lecture, an endowed lecture series to honor his distinguished research career at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
