He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Haviland and Marie Haviland; his sisters, Channa Haviland and Holly Poje; and his great grandchild Kaiden Frazee.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Veh; his children, Wendy Hladky (Nathan) and Chad Haviland (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kaylene Frazee, Emma Haviland, Isaac Hladky and Aquila Hladky; his great grandchildren, KaliAunna and Julian; his sister Lee Colvin; Mary Lou.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Great Plains SPCA.
