He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Elizabeth Jacob Brock (Ruby) and Lee Marion Brock; his wife Alice Brock; his sister Mary Margaret Madden (Marge); his brother-in-law Stanford Madden; his in-laws, Leo, Marjorie Derks, Theodore Derks and Anna Derks; and his granddaughter Katherine Kimmel Baker (Katie).

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Steve Brock (Alison) of Rockville, MD, Margaret Ann "Meg" Huber (Pat) of Edina, MN and Laura Baker (Paul) of Leawood, KS; his daughter-in-law Mary Lee Brock; his grandchildren, Andrew Baker (Corinna), Claudia Brock, Etienne Brock, Mindy Huber and Nick Huber; and his in-laws, Ron Derks, Cathy Corral, Sharon Derks and Gary Derks (Judy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Rockhurst University or the Church of the Nativity.
