He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Cox and Alma Cox (Johnson); and his son Jeremy Cox. He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Cox; his children, Ryan Cox and Jocelyn Cox; his brother Gary Cox; his grandchildren, Anthony Cox, Marcus Cox, Nathaniel Cox and Elizabeth Cox; and his great grandchildren, Maverick and Calla.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel's Olathe Chapel (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062). A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (16000 W 143rd St, Olathe, KS 66062).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Daryl's memory be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
