David Joel Kleber, born on May 20, 1946 in Burlington, Colorado, passed away on September 12, 2026. David leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clarence Kleber and Berneida Kleber; his brother Gary; his sister-in-law Dalene; and his siblings, Thomas (Tom) and Delphine.
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Jan); his sisters, Donneta Schmieding (Myron) of Utica, NE and Dorothy Schaaf (Mark) of Platte Center, NE; his stepdaughter Robin Allenbrand of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Karlyn Allenbrand of Wilmington, DE and Bryce (Ashley Allenbrand); and his great grandchildren, Lucille and Adler of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church - Overland Park (9101 Lamar Ave, Overland Park, KS 66207). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bethany Lutheran School, in memory of David.
