He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel A Lofstrom and Dorothy Lofstrom (Barker); his brother Sammy; his daughter Mary; his granddaughter Kiira; and his great grandchild Riah.
He is survived by : his wife Paula West; his children, Mark, David (Sue), Peter (Ellen), Tim (Kathie), Heidi, Shawn (Stephen), Lori, Paul (Mary Anne), Beth and Joel (Gia); his stepsons, David, Matthew West and Selemani Shabani (Maria); and his sisters, Sue Ramthun and Dodee Colberg (Chuck). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; countless friends.
Memorials to IHP will build and equip the laboratory at Zuzu Hospital in Tanzania.
