He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Alice Ferguson (Omundson); his wife Gayanne Gill; and his brother Marvin J. Ferguson. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Salter (Steve), Jan Buster (Bryce) and Matthew Ferguson; his grandchildren, Jeff Salter (Hannah), Emily Jones (Tyler), Whitney Salter (David Gunter), Kaitlyn Rose (Rich) and Lauren Dunlap (Johnny); his sister-in-law Sandra Ferguson; his sibling's children, Mark Ferguson (Margaret) and Haley Eisler (Sean); his brother-in-law Samual Gill (Lana); and his nephews, Brendan Gill and Andrew Gill. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
