It is with sadness that the passing of Donald Edwin Warkentien (Overland Park, Kansas) is shared. Donald, born on November 1, 1944 in Elmhurst, Illinois, passed away on July 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Donald will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Donald by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin C. Warkentien and Helen L. Batterman Warkentien; and his sister Doris Warkentien Malfese. He is survived by: his sister Sandy Warkentien Bondlow; his wife Ramona W. DeLair Warkentien; his children, Dale and Richard; and his granddaughters, Sophia and Rose.
