He was predeceased by: his parents, Edson B. Parker, Jr. and Blanche E. Parker (Smith); his wife Dolores Ann Lindholm; his sisters, Lois Clark (Bob) and Jo Ann Powell (Norman); and his nieces, Diane Card and Carol Vawser.
He is survived by: his son Edson Briggs, IV of Topeka; his grandchildren, Alex and Emily Ann; and his sibling's children, Randy Powell (Susan), Beverly Card (Jim) and Betty Hursh.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson County Chapel & Memorial Gardens (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210).
