He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Gronau and Margaret Gronau (Rutschman); his brother Tony Gronau; and his pet Max. He is survived by : his sons, Steve Gronau (Jenny) of Halstead, Evan Gronau (Megan) of Baldwin City and Avery Gronau (Kacey) of Lawrence; his grandchildren, Sarah, Alyx, Ashley, Maggie and Garrison Gronau; his great grandchildren, Emma, Brantley and Owen; his sister Sharon Tolle (Bill) of Wichita; his sister-in-law Mari Gronau of Overland Park; and his pet Rufus.
