He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Wesley and Grace Mildred Rains (Dalton); and his sister JoAnn O'Dell of Raytown, MO.. He is survived by: his wife Erma Jean Rains (Johnson); his son Kevin Rains (Shana); and his grandchildren, Courtney Schutte (Andrew) and Tyler Rains. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
