He was predeceased by: his mother Bette Ruth McKee; and his aunt Lynn Brust. He is survived by: his father Hugh Vernon Smith; his children, JJ Smith, Drew Smith, Kelsie Smith and Austin Smith; and his siblings, Theresa Smith Mick and Michael Smith.
