He was predeceased by: his parents, Holman Tandy Valentine and Hazel Clare Githens Valentine; his sisters, Lajeanne "Jean" Valentine Hiner, Betty Valentine Richardson, Phyllis Valentine Stahl and Joyce Valentine Richardson; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Valentine Bur; his nephew Tony Vance; and his nieces, Teresa Stahl Ruhmann, Sally Richardson Hull and Cindy Richardson Civkulis.
He is survived by: his sister Deanna Valentine Vance; his brother-in-law Jan Vance of Lincoln, NE; his sons, Rocky Valentine (Terri) of Mission, KS, Marty Valentine (Amy) of Springfield, VA and Matthew Valentine (Leah) of Lenexa, KS; his friend Dee Welborn; his granddaughter Julia Valentine Bartak (John); his great grandchildren, Blakely, Ben and Brooke of Prairie Village, KS; his grandchild Ryan Bertram; his great grandchildren, Christian and Quorra of Overland Park, KS; and his granddaughters, Audrey Valentine of Arlington, VA, Margaret Valentine of Burke, VA and Maria Zimmerman of Burke, VA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
