He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack, Betty Moore, Richard Simpson and Rees Spilman; his uncle Tom; and his aunts, Mary Moore and Debbie Mills.

He is survived by: his parents, Bradford Simpson and Marilyn Simpson (Moore); his wife Samantha Hallak; his siblings, Whitney Simpson, Shane, Brittany Simpson and Jaclyn Simpson; his nieces and nephews, Lexi Greathouse, Jack Simpson and Lila Backman; his in-laws, Steve, Valerie Hallak, Sidney and Austin Backman; his uncle Mike Mills; his aunts, Krista Simpson, Susan Simpson and Amy Edwards; and his close friend Michael Moser. He is also survived by many cousins and other extended family members, dear friends.
