The family announces the passing of Jacqueline L. Byrd of Overland Park, Kansas on October 4, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Pettigrew and Opal Pettigrew (Manning). She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, James, Michael (Kirsten) and Kendra (Denny); her siblings, Lois Workman Dinwiddie (late Jack) and Gary Pettigrew (Shirley); and her grandchildren, Meredith, Hudson, Patrick, Emmaline, Brooks, Henry, Sidney and Olivia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Presbyterian Church (13300 Kenneth Rd, Leawood, KS 66209). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
