James Bryce Grissom Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bryce Grissom of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather JB; and his parents, Bennett Sloan Grissom and Martha McCann Grissom. He is survived by: his wife Clara Campbell Grissom; his children, Barry Grissom (Renee), Jane Tompkins and Grant Grissom (Kathy); his grandchildren, Taylor Simmermon (Lisa), Tyler Grissom (Libby), Annie Wondergem (Jon), Madison Porter (Kirk), Hayes Grissom, Cole Tompkins (Tori) and Carter Grissom; and his great grandchildren, Tegan Grissom, Harper Simmermon, Jack Simmermon, Charlie Simmermon, Campbell Porter, Doll Porter, Graham Tompkins, Walker Tompkins and Gus Grissom.
