We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2024, at the age of 82, James Edward Sorrell of Overland Park, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Edward and Maudie Mae Sorrell (Parrett); his wife Nevora June Sorrell; and his siblings, Shirley Sorrell, Bertha Sorrell Tull, Andy Sorrell and Dewey Sorrell.

He is survived by : his sons, Jonathan Eric Sorrell (Melissa Sorrell), Jeff Sorrell of Collinsville, OK, Joe Sorrell of Wetumka, OK and Danny (Julie Underwood); his granddaughters, Heather Tong (Felicia Sorrell), Hannah Rose (Sarah Franklin) and Alyssa Underwood (Dannah Hill); and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Samuel, Ayden and Julianne Rose.
