He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Limer and Marianna Theresa Balma; and his sister Mary Ann. He is survived by: his wife Susan Marie Stoecklin; his children, Brett (Shelby), Bryan (Nicki), Jeff (Kristen) and Jenny (Ammon); his grandchildren, Flora (Logan), Matthew, Penny and Grae; and his siblings, Judy, Ron (Brenda) and Kathy (Dave).
