She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Shirley Rhodes and William Coates; her brothers, Loren Coates and Brian Coates of Mulberry; and her nieces, Kellan Widner and Jennifer Dawson.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
