He was predeceased by: his son Anthony; his parents, Mable V. Ferris and John "Jack" H. Ferris; and his siblings, Virginia "Ginger" Margaglione and Donald "Don" Ferris.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Cathy" Burtt; his siblings, Jane Smolik of Colorado Springs, CO, Mike Ferris of Camano Island and Joe Ferris (Dawn) of Grand Island, NE; his sister-in-law Joyce Ferris (late Don); his children, Julie A. Mack (late John) of Fairway, KS, Suzy Williams (Scott) of Prairie Village, KS, Colleen Ferris of Overland Park, KS and Kevin Ferris of Overland Park, KS.; and his grandchildren, Zachary Williams, Megan Mack-Corkran (Kiel), John Mack, III, Samantha Williams and Kyle Mack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Catholic Charities or Cure' of Ars Catholic Church.
