He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Guy Harper and Mary Loretta Harper; his wife Julie; his children, Denise Skrljac (Tom) and Kelly of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandchildren, Cassie Skrljac, Joe Skrljac (Samantha), Liz Skrljac (Dylan Pendleton) and Matthew Skrljac (Shelden Moon); and his great grandchildren, Silas Skrljac, Nora Skrljac, Sutton Skrljac and Paisley Pendleton.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:10 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (11300 W 103rd St, Overland Park, KS 66214, USA). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Luncheon to follow back at church following burial. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John Harper's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
