He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Betty Marie Johnson (Ebeck); his son John Lee Johnson; and his siblings, Patricia Nelson and Brad Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Lessie Louise Young; his children, Rick Johnson (Laurie), Cynthia DeHoff (Damon), Robin Reynolds (Eric), Chrissy Greig (Raymond), Shauna Kraus (Dustin), Melanie Holt (Cody) and Amber Schwartz (Jessie); and his siblings, Mike Johnson, Linda Maisch, Brian Johnson, Bruce Johnson and Renee Johnson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
