With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Cain Jr. of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John W. Cain Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Cain and Ruby Cain (Wilder); and his siblings, N. Dale Cain, Betty Yelton, Darrell Cain, Sherry Glor and Roger Cain.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly A. Cook; his children, Brian Cain of Olympia, WA and Valerie Nelson of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his granddaughter Katherine Nelson of Cedar Rapids, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Civil Bend Christian Cemetery - Pattonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
